Biography
Heather has spent more than 30 years training and supervising Early Childhood professionals and now serves as Outreach Director at Dimensions Educational Research Foundation. Her years of experience in the classroom have helped her to develop an understanding of resiliency and the importance of a heart-centered approach. Heather has been an Education Coordinator, Director of Head Start/ Early Head Start programs, and has been part of the HighScope Educational Research Foundation Research Department. In her current role, she facilitates workshops for educators, speaks at national and international conferences, and helps to design outdoor classrooms. Heather is part of Environmental Kinship International and is studying reciprocal relationships in nature. Heather finds joy and satisfaction when working with early childhood classroom teachers and while exploring the natural world.
