Molly Hichens is a professional speaker, trainer, and second generation owner at Bright Beginnings Preschool which has 3 locations in Charlottesville, Virginia. With over 10 years experience in the Early Childhood Education industry, Molly has successfully consulted for small business owners and large preschool operators from across the country. Molly is a sought after speaker at national and international conferences having regularly spoken for the World Forum of Education, Childcare Exchange, VCCA, CQEL, EveryChild California among others. Molly’s speaking engagements target leadership, exit planning, intergenerational workplace, business expansion, and increasing revenue while streamlining your systems.
Most recently, Molly worked for HINGE Early Education Brokers for 4 years as Broker Transaction Support and Client Relations. To support these roles she coached clients on staying fully enrolled and staffed during a transaction as well as curating individual exit strategies for clients who wanted to sell at their own time and on their own terms.
This scope and experience, coupled with Molly’s passion for helping small business owners succeed led her to her next venture, Molly Hichens Consulting. Here, Molly support’s business owners in operations, expansion and exit planning by providing a more personalized and focused experience to her clients.
Molly is deeply family oriented and loves to spend her free time with her husband, Rob, her son, Leo and her Cavalier King Charles, Edward. A proud graduate of Sweet Briar College, Molly’s Virginia roots are expressed through her love for the outdoors, long walks and baking new recipes for her family.
