We stand in solidarity with early childhood educators and families of color to make equity and justice an imperative. Together with Equity Research Action Coalition we will offer authoritative and compelling content to inform and unify the early childhood workforce. Both organizations intend to use our partnership to help open minds, bridge divides, and ultimately optimize programs and classrooms for positive outcomes for children of color.
The Equity Research Action Coalition, a university-based collaborative, focuses on co-constructing with practitioners and policymakers actionable research and evaluation to support the optimal development of Black children prenatally through childhood. The Coalition works at the intersection of research, program, and practice through anti-racist and cultural wealth frameworks. The Coalition focuses on developing a science-based action framework to eradicate the impact of racism and poverty and all its consequences on the lives of Black children, families, and communities, and to ensure their optimal health and well-being.
